Augustí Bosch, Al Ahly men’s basketball team head coach, revealed his happiness after winning the National League title. 

“It was a tough one, like every game against Al Ittihad. This game has become a tradition to become a tough one. I would like to thank the players, the coaching staff, and the medical staff. We did a great job.” 

“I do not see the game quarter by quarter. We did a good job defensively, much better than the first game, so I am happy with that.”

“I told my players after the first game that we had to be together. Al Ittihad is a team that forces you to make a lot of mistakes and if we did not deal with these mistakes as a team, we will go down for sure.” 

“We played defensively together, and we controlled the game together, and that was the key for the game.”
